HERE'S A NEW ONE

Nelson Mandela thinks Bush is waging war on Iraq and thereby undermining the UN because...wait for it...the head of the UN is black. How long before the Democrats start using that anti-war angle themselves?

I’m surprised that Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson didn’t beat him to this one. How ridiculous.

This is nothing new. Mandela was playing this song last Fall.

This REALLY peaved me when I read it and I ranted along on my page and for the first time in a while couldnt supress my language to describe my feelings.

I wonder if even the ever-growing blogosphere contains a mind capable of coming up with just the right piece of invective, le mot juste of censure, for Mandela right now. Boil all the judgment down to a single word and what would that word be?

The best I can do is five words: Why is he still here?

Terrorist and tyrant supporting commie arsehole would be a nice way of putting it.. At least bloggers have the guts to call him what he really is…

Hrrm… one word?

How bout “French”???

LOL!

Steve, I think you’re close…

I really can’t figure out what’s been with Mandela in the last few years. It seems like he keeps on making these completely absurd declarations. Maybe he is going prematurely senile. It is a shame to see such a great man be so unreasonable.

Who even thinks Mandela is of ANY relevance on the world political stage? This is as patently stupid as Harry Belafonte calling Colin Powell a ‘house slave’. Mandela is off his rocker. Does he think the world has forgotten that while he was imprisoned his wife ran a mafia operation that intimidated, attacked, and killed people who disagreed?

I was glad to see you bring her up, Gene. The world remembers Winnie, but only her name.

I remember her for her preferred method of execution, buring a gasoline-soaked tire around the victim’s head.

Let’s also remember Mandela for his sympathy for the Lockerbie bomber.

Which would you say is worse?

Ok, this is going to hurt…I think its unfair to the French to compare Mandela to them. They are just a bunch of navel-gazing Franks who lost it militarily, intellectually and emotionally on the field at Waterloo. They are not bad people, just the country is stuck in a prolonged strop.

I still think my sentence works rather well. Is he going senile or showing his true colours?
