Aziz Poonwalla may spin like a blender on the question of Israel and WMGs, but anybody that posts this can't be all bad.I moved out of Texas about a decade ago, but my heart has never left.
now, I spent the $25 for the Official Embossed State of Texas Birth Certificate for my daughter. I’m a yankee poseur in some ways, but Sakina will always be a Texan at the core.
I know a displaced Texan here that had his parents ship a jar of dirt up from Texas. When his kids were born, he’d place the jar under the delivery table so that his kids could all be literally born over Texas soil.
It sounds a little nutty…but I wish I’d done it when my son was born.
Sakina is a pretty name, btw.
I think I draw the line at smelling dirt!
Her name means “tranquility” - which, for the most part, she lives up to. Sort of. :P
The guy wasn’t smelling the dirt. He just had it in a jar, lid affixed.
Maybe your daughter can grow into her name.
