Oh Yeah, Almost Forgot:

Michelle took pictures of those "four destroyed mosques" in Hurriya.

They weren't destroyed.

And army guys said that Jamil Hussein's man-burning incident never happened. (As did the Washington Post a long time ago). And as I noted--I may have been the first to do so, but who cares--the AP themselves backed off the claim of four burned mosques as soon as their narrative was questioned.

More at Flopping Aces, Confederate Yankee, Patterico, and the New York Post. Video at Hot Air in a matter of hours.

Yee haw.

But none of that matters, because the AP says a guy they call Jamil Hussein exists. Of course, that’s not his real name and he denies being their source, and he couldn’t possibly have seen what they reported, but what do you want him to say?

If this administration set off one of the Iraqi warheads full of Sarin at the State of the Union address, the AP would claim Bush faked it, and even if it was real, it’s old and doesn’t count and it’s not a nuke.

They actually charge newspapers for the reporting from Iraq. Their defense would probably be that everyone knows we’re lying.
