Telegraph: Iranian nuke test within 12 months, with DPRK help
It's almost like there's some kind of, I dunno, Fulcrum of Evil uniting the worst countries in the world:
North Korea is helping Iran to prepare an underground nuclear test similar to the one Pyongyang carried out last year. This European says twelve months, which is a little different from the TEN YEAR window offered by the Pentagon.Under the terms of a new understanding between the two countries, the North Koreans have agreed to share all the data and information they received from their successful test last October with Teheran's nuclear scientists. ...
A senior European defence official told The Daily Telegraph that North Korea had invited a team of Iranian nuclear scientists to study the results of last October's underground test to assist Teheran's preparations to conduct its own — possibly by the end of this year.
There were unconfirmed reports at the time of the Korean firing that an Iranian team was present.
This summer, before Israel invaded Lebanon, there was a sort of a heightened expectation as things built up. If you're like me, and Penraker, you might sense a similar buzz of activity now. I'm not saying we're striking, but there's a lot of stuff coming out now like this that makes me think something's definitely up. And I think a lot of it probably has government origins and is being deliberately released. Why, even Hezbollah got a mention in the SOTU. Meanwhile, the Sunni states are freaking out.
If we are planning a strike (note: a "strike" and an "invasion" are not the same thing; I don't know anyone who advocates an invasion), well, I've said there's no time like the present.
