Compare and Contrast

Ace has a post on the new spokesbrat for Greenpeace. This kid is intense, and he has a hood. Like a cobra.

He's really making me care. I hope he learns to swim, cause I'm failing a great welling up of intergenerational obligation....

No, sorry, that was just the burrito talking. Anyway, I think I know this kid's dad:

I ain't gonna swim agayan. Not even on...kerrutchez!

You know, if you changed that kids words at the beginning, from about Global Warming, to being about Muslim Extremists and Islamic Jihad, the whole stuff about leaving the problem to the next generation might work for our side. I say that for two reasons - Someone could take their kid and make a pretty good parody/rebuttal video using the same rhetoric about a more pertinent issue. That would be, in my opinion, pretty funny, and more relevant.

Secondly, it tells me that the war the Left wants to fight has to do with questionable science that talks about a climate that could someday kill us, instead of a proven enemy that actually wants to, and does, kill us.

Wow, “intense” doesn’t even begin to cover what that kid is. Try “future thug.” The menacing presence and facial tics certainly betray someone with a SERIOUS anger-management problem. And the obvious threats that “this is the last time I’ll be talking to you adults;” and “I may be a kid today, but tomorrow will be different” (i.e.; then, I’ll smash your face). This kid may be young, but he already fits right in with the Stalinist/terrorist Left of today.
