Dead Iranian Scientist

So about the dead Iranian scientist thing--the guy who was supposedly offed by Israel--where does that show up on its original source--Radio Farda or RFE/RFL? (Radio Farda is a Persian-language subsidiary of RFE/RL.) I read all their Iran stuff and if I'd have seen that I would have blogged it faster than you can say traffic-bait. Yet as near as I can tell this major scoop shows up nowhere on the news site. Hmm.

There is an article at Stratfor that would seem to suggest that Israel was involved, but it's behind the firewall:

Geopolitical Diary: Israeli Covert Operations in Iran
February 02, 2007 0200 GMT
French President Jacques Chirac caused quite the uproar when he said that an Iranian nuclear weapon would not be much of a threat because "Tehran would be razed to the ground" if it ever tried to... [more]
Any Stratfor subscribers want to help a blogger out, hit my hotmail at "seedub".

Far more plausible is that shoddy Iranian nuclear tech sprayed their bigshot scientist with a lethal dose of uranium hexafluoride gas, and they decided to blame it on the Jews.

Iran is not blaming anyone. The Jews are the ones saying “we killed him!”

Square, the article doesn’t say anything about that—it only credits the assassination story to “an intelligence source”. Could be any side.
