This site is still alive and kicking thanks to the generosity and talents of Alan M. Carroll (aka Annoying Old Guy). Without him, the JYB would still be suffering with Blogger's bad code and long-term archive loss.

Pino Egregio

I like Rusty's take on this Kent State jihadist professor, Julio Pino. "This isn't my blog, I just contribute news stories to it." As for Pino's site, which carries no identification of who writes it except for a picture of one of the 9/11 hijackers, who are we supposed to believe does own it? That guy is dead and in Hell. Not much time for blogging there, dudes, what with the constant devil-sodomy and boiling lead showers.

(Which reminds me: do you see the fierce bulldog logo at the top of this page? Just to clarify, that red bulldog does not own this site. Other people actually are responsible for the production of what you see here, not the fictional doggie character. The JYB News Bureau apologizes for any confusion.)

Now, there may be a grain of plausibility to his denial. I've guest blogged at a few sites, but I don't own them. And I don't necessarily agree with everything they post. But if I knowingly contributed to sites that advocated violent jihad and promoted Al-Qaeda's struggle against the USA, I would be collaborating with our enemies--whether I "owned" the sites or not.

This guy really does sound like one of the most egregious wackos in academia. We're way off in Ward Churchill territory here.
