This is a good reminder that Bryan Preston isn't just a blogger and video producer, but went semi-pro as an online columnist as well. He lays it all out for you about Iran's "global reach" through proxy terrorism.

They've got two weapons they can use against us; one is the oil weapon, which I've written about here and here, and is pretty much a dud; and the terror weapon which is decidedly not.

I've never bothered to read up on Iran's missile program very much other than to confirm they can reach Israel. But with a clandestine network capable of smuggling people, money and drugs around the world, they don't really need to work that hard at delivery systems. Within three years or so the effectiveness of this deterrent will jump by several orders of magnitude--from their current capacity to kill hundreds of Americans and level city blocks with a single bomb, they'll acquire the capacity to incinerate tens of thousands of Americans and level a city.

Unlike with our mega-nukes, though, they can preserve a measure of deniability with their terror weapons. Oh, we'll know Hezbollah hit us, but just like with the bombings in Argentina in the nineties, Iran can deny any knowledge of what happened. And much of the world, including much of our own Left, will choose to believe them.

As Bryan points out, Iran already deters the world--even the United States--with its terror weapon. With a nuclear terror capability, who will stand up to them?
