Great Interview With M. Zuhdi Jasser

Erick Stakelbeck's talk with him is a must see.

It's also edited well. The interview focuses on what Dr. Jasser has to say. A similar interview on an MSM network would intercut between the subject and lingering closeups of Brian Williams or Barbra Walters looking concerned, nodding sympathetically, looking skeptical, etc. (I suspect part of this is a way to signal how they think you ought to feel toward what you're seeing.) Erick (and Bryan) do a great job of streamlining the interview to keep it on Jasser until Erick's brief comments at the end.

I'm glad Erick's filling in at Hot Air. Previously he interviewed Jamal Miftah on behalf of Pat Robertson's CBN, (where he still blogs) and I noticed that when Erick wrapped up and talked about how here was a moderate Muslim, Reverend Pat came in right after him and explained how this proved there's no such thing as a moderate Muslim, which undermined the whole point of the interview.

As for Dr. Jasser, it confirms what I wrote here about him:

Last thing: please don’t insult me by claiming I’m just mad there are Arabs on my TV. I want Arabs on my TV. I’d love to see more Jamal Miftahs, Wafa Sultans, M. Zuhdi Jassers getting their say. These men and women do more for American goodwill toward Arabs and Muslims than all the Wahhabi propaganda ever made.
