That must have been a hot date

Ordinarily I remain intentionally and blissfully ignorant of the private lives of the criminal underclass. Nonetheless I have to admit this little incident at a Fremont, California Honk n' Holler has me curious what they're up to:

The two men, whom the clerk recognized from a prior incident, got out of the car and entered the business, Mazzone said. One of them went to the drink cooler, while the other went to the counter and asked to purchase a box of condoms, Mazzone said.

Unhappy with the price, the man at the counter began haggling with the clerk. Moments later, the other man emerged from the cooler with three cans of energy drink, one of which he threw at the clerk.

The can struck the employee in the face.

The other robber then grabbed the box of condoms from the clerk's hand, and both men sped off in the Camry...
