UN on Leaving Iraq: What's your hurry?

Ban Ki Moon has cautioned the US not to withdraw hastily from Iraq "for the sake of the Iraqi people". I find this sudden agreement with an apparently reasonable UN official unfamiliar... and quite disturbing. Perhaps I should reconsider my position?
