Coincidence or the First Signs of a Concerted Attack?
What they’re going to do is hit six, seven or eight cities simultaneously to show sophistication and really hit the public. This time, which is the message of the day, it will not only be big cities. They’re going to try to hit rural America. They want to send a message to rural America: “You’re not protected. If you figured out that if you just move out of New York and move to Montana or to Pittsburgh, you’re not immune. That may be exactly what we're seeing today, with odd events occurring all over the United States and Canada.
- Goose Creek, South Carolina: Two men of Middle Easter descent stopped with an alleged bomb in the trunk of their car.
- Strathroy, Canada: Two anti-tank landmines found in culvert.
- Miami, Florida: Two men removed from plane and questioned after passenger heard them talking about hijacking (probably nothing).
- Daytona Beach, FL: Reports of laser beams being shined into the cockpits of several aircraft (probably nothing).
