Shoot the Messengers
The Left supports the troops.
Oh, sure, they shout down uniformed soldiers who dare to address them in their Moonbat Belfry, and threaten them with court-martial to shut them up.
And Marine reservist Matt Sanchez, now a reporter in Iraq, who dares to disconfirm the Left's preferred Scott Thomas Beauchamp narrative? Well, you can't trust a f----t, screams the Left and loudest among them is profoundly unpleasant hatchet man Max Blumenthal (son of Sid Blumenthal). Ace lays into him here, in typically colorful Ace-prose--proving once again that the Left by and large hates the sinner but loves the sin. Incidentally Blumey doesn't stop with Sanchez but goes on to gay-smear "Gracie"/"Throbert McGee", the whistle-blowing TNR staffer who got fired for calling shenanigans on their handling of the story.
So is this Max Blumenthal just an obnoxious homophobic weirdo on the lefty fringe? Well, he's an obnoxious homophobic weirdo, but as for the "fringe" part, no. He's a research fellow at Media Matters for America.
Just remember: they support the troops. Some caveats apply:

Here's my own take on Cpl. Sanchez's background and road to redemption.
