CAIR scrubs site of all complaints about Audrey Hudson!

In this entry I posted about CAIR's attempt to weasel out of its unindicted co-conspirator status in the Holy Land Foundation trial. The irony was manifest: to prove that the co-conspirator designation was hurting them, CAIR cited a June 11th report by the Washington Times' Audrey Hudson that

A: didn't say what they said it did and
B: they had previously denounced as inaccurate and biased.

Said CAIR of Hudson's article:

"We are also concerned that Washington Times reporter Audrey Hudson has apparently had a vendetta against our organization and the American Muslim community since she was barred from a recent CAIR news conference because of her history of sloppy and agenda-driven reporting. It is unfortunate that her apparent bias leads her to 'cook' CAIR's membership figures and to tarnish the journalistic reputation of the Washington Times."

Said I of CAIR, after they had decided that Audrey Hudson's journalistic integrity looked good enough to save them from co-conspirator status:

I screencapped that, by the way, in case it disappears.

It disappeared.

As does every mention on CAIR's website of "Audrey" or "Hudson".

I was half-joking about the potential disappearance of their letter. I was not joking about the screencap. I'm putting it up at Flickr; click the link to see it at a legible size.

In a somewhat related vein, Colorado’s Democratic Senate candidate, Rep. Mark Udall, was caught channeling Reuters when he called U.S. efforts the “so-called ‘war on terrorism’ ” on his House website. Then he got caught trying to destroy the evidence:

War on terror? Udall says no.
