More--quite sophisticated--Burmese sabotage
I haven't blogged much on Burma because, well, the revolution there is doomed and the cruel totalitarian character of the Burmese junta is manifest. More about that later, I suppose.
But even their corrupt thugocracy has a few surprises up its sleeve.
I get my news on Burma from Irrawaddy, a magazine/ news site run by exiled Burmese journalists with a pro-democracy slant. On September 27, someone uploaded a Trojan Horse virus to the Irrawaddy server that attempted to crash their server and infect site visitors. It's fixed, and their report is here. Looks like they've been reading Unrestricted Warfare.
By the way, I predict absolutely f'ing huge box office returns for John Rambo, since the Burmese government have now shown their true stripes and Rambo unleashes all holy hell on them. Everyone's going to want to see these guys get a cinematic comeuppance.
A real one? Won't happen anytime soon.
