Thanks for letting me post (SEEDUB SEZ: NOOOOO!!!)
I just started graduate school a couple of weeks ago, and it's got me busy as a rat, so I have no time left for current events or posting. I knew this was coming, so I shut down my blog earlier this summer; See-Dubya was kind enough to let me satisfy my summer blogging craving here at JYB. It's been great, and I'd like to thank everybody for reading, commenting, and tolerating my China-Russia-SCO paranoia.
So thank you, See-Dubya, co-bloggers, commenters, and readers. It's been a pleasure, and it was certainly a lot more fun than getting my fanny kicked by Quantum Mechanics.
UPDATE by See-dubya: SHANE! COME BACK! SHANE!
Geoff, thanks so much for writing here. It's been a great help in times when I couldn't post and you always have something worth reading.
I won't say goodbye because grad school is usually so onerous it just makes you want to blog more, or so I hear. I hope yours isn't like that and I wish you the best of luck with it--but remember you always have a place to vent right here.
Remember, you thought you were done before...
Anyway, for old time's sake, here's a little project Geoff and I did this January:

P.S. Last favor, Geoff: if you know some quantum mechanics, can you please set this Muslim Truther straight about why his stove doesn't melt when he turns the heat on?
