California Firebugs strike again

"Performance Artist" was intercepted on his way to burn down San Francisco's Grace Cathedral--a Nob Hill landmark and an architectural (if not theological) treasure. I have friends that worship there, or did before they fled SF. (Click the link and note the priceless mugshot.) I know some other people who have a little choir that got to sing there and immensely enjoyed it.

Look, Grace Cathedral might be an effete and withered postmodern institution, clinging to pathetic liberal homilies to justify their continued operation of telling Gomorrah that brimstone might be smelly but it doesn't really hurt that bad when it hits you, yet I stand with Dr. Peter Venkman on this matter: No one steps on a church in my town.
