China runs a couple of plays from "Unrestricted Warfare"

You guys have heard of this book, right? Google says you can download the whole translation as a .pdf here (that'll be huge --link fixed), or you can buy it from Amazon, too.

Anyway, interesting book written by a couple of Chinese colonels about how to destroy America through means other than direct confrontation.

One of those methods is "currency warfare". What do we see this AM? No, not the Gisele Bundchen story--we see China dumping its reserves of the dollar and talking trash about it. Sarkozy said this could lead to "economic war". Could lead?

Another is

"drug warfare" (obtaining sudden and huge illicit profits from spreading disaster in other countries)
And lo and behold, it's time for the GHB-stuffed children's toys! it's Aqua-dots in the U.S.; I saw a headline about a similar product in Australia as well.

That's just bizarre. I can see lead getting into something through manufacturing processes, or antifreeze being used to cut corn syrup in toothpaste because it's cheaper and tastes sweet, but date-rape juice in kids' toys? Toys that look like little candy dots?

It's like an entire nation run by Irving Mainway: ">.
You are a very sleazy country.

PS to JYB special guest star Geoff: you've read that book, right?

MORE: Howdy, Hot Air Headlines readers! Here's my favorite line from Unrestricted Warfare, on page 95 of the book version:

However, the destruction which they [what the authors call "analogous" or non-military wars] do in the areas attacked are absolutely not secondary to pure military wars. In this area, we need only mention the names of lunatics such as George Soros, bin Laden, Escobar, [Chizuo] Matsumoto*, and Kevin Mitnick.

WE GOT MORE: Frequent commenter CP talked a little about UW and currency maipulation here, and this from Humble Narrator is pretty funny.

*founder of the Aum Shinrikyo cult that attacked the Tokyo subways with nerve gas.

I’m sorry to say that I have not read that book. The link you provided doesn’t quite work, but I fought through and downloaded a copy. I’ll try to give it a read after I finish my reading for the Innocent Bystanders reading club.

In the practical art of war, the best thing of all is to take the enemy’s country whole and intact; to shatter and destroy it is not so good. [snip] Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemies resistance without fighting.

-Sun Tzu Art of War, III (1-2)

[Occasus—the link was messing with the margins so I edited it out. Sorry. —See-Dub]

Hasn’t anyone considered that the labels of the toys were clearly marked as appropriately for ‘Date Rapists’ only??

http://www.humblenarrator.com/2007/11/08/importers-tainted-chinese-kids-toys-clearly-labeled-for-date-rapists-aged-5/

I wrote a piece about China’s currency manipulation with an excerpt from that book last year. You can read it here - http://politicsofcp.blogspot.com/2006/05/china-currency-manipulation-whos.html

The idea isn’t new, just our noticing it. Thank you for putting up this post btw! Gen. Kalugin (KGB defector) has lectured extensively on Communist tactics to try and bring down America through unconventional means. Tactics range from being large financial backers of extremist elements that encourage derrision (labor vs. company, Jew vs. non-Jew, black vs. whits, etc) to minor acts of sabotage against out city infrastructure that add up over time.
