How come no one is talking about the conservative victory in Denmark?
I knew they were having elections, but forgot amid the griping and finger-wagging about Australia's elections. This morning I got an e-mail from a conservative friend in Denmark who called the results very satisfying. Looks that way:
The prime minister led his party and its Conservative coalition partners to an unprecedented third consecutive term in parliamentary elections last Tuesday, benefiting from a booming economy and a three-decade low unemployment level of 3.1 percent.
