Reminds me of my best bud Brian’s “buck of a lifetime” story. He lives on a big spread in southern VA, and shot a 150 class B&C buck with a .270… in his underwear… from his kitchen window… while sipping coffee. That is obviously NOT a pic taken of Brian’s south 40. Funny though. ;^)

Been delaying taking a deer until it gets a little colder but couldn’t resist tonight when I looked out the dining room window and a nice 6 point was standing about 60 yards from the house. Moved the chairs and table a little and gathered up the Winchester M70, 30-06 and now have to skin and dress him out in the AM. Got a nice 20 inch spread 8 pointer a few years ago in the same spot. Guess i’ll have to quit looking out the window when getting a fresh cup of coffee. If the group in the pic show up i’ll drag out the Rem 7400 semi-auto and try for two.
Waitin’ it be vote-able…
