Weird climate-change scam targets bloggers

Blue Crab Boulevard discovers something hinky going on involving an e-mail about a fake professor supposedly under attack from the "climate change mafia".

Not sure what they're trying to do with this, unless its some convoluted scam to get conservative bloggers to endorse a fraudulent professor?
