Who won?

No one. From what I saw of the debate--about half of it-- my guy did very well. Hunter didn't come off as well as I would have expected. I thought the Mitt v. Rudy sparring was ugly and didn't help either. Huck was likeable, McCain was tired. Ron Paul was annoying and shrill.

Ignoring the Ronulans who hire paid spammers to flood every poll with sycophantic cult-figure love, I was pleasantly surprised to see this at WSJ's Washington Wire when I swung by there a little after 10:00 PM Pacific:

Not bad. You can go there and vote, too.

MORE: If you're tracking CNN's transformation into HGTV (gays and plants and gay plants) you've probably seen the stories about the pro-choice girl for Edwards and the Gay General for Hillary. Well, looks like Brian McMurphy at 6MB found a third Democratic plant in "Log Cabin Republican" and Obama supporter David Cercone.

Jeez, can we just skip the left's garden party and bring back the snowman? It was dumb, but honest.

I thought McCain won big. He seems to be the only adult in the crowd. Also, have we come to the point where a Democrat isn’t allowed to ask questions in a Republican debate? What a country? The guy’s a brigadeer general for God’s sake who cares what candidate he’s backing.

I do. For very obvious reasons.

If you’re tracking CNN’s transformation into HGTV (gays and plants and gay plants).

I am sooo gonna use that! Awesome.

And the agro search goes on. This morning the count is up to 8 but I haven’t checked this hour. And what about that woman with the gray hair and bangs in the “reaction room” or whatever they were calling it where the “undecided Republican voters” were kept? There were 2 dozen people in there, but she got hold of the mic at least twice, and stated that she was going to vote for John Edwards. Can you even BE a Republican and not call this guy Silky Pony or The Breck Girl, even when you’re on TV? I’m not saying she’s a plant, but getting even one Dem into that room can skew the approve-o-meter results by 4%. If people start looking into that aspect, I’m sure we’ll find that only half of those 24 people were RINOs or registered Dems. But half is fair, right?
