Penraker notes that talk show host Michael Medved, who seemed to be backing Huckabee with an almost Hewitt-like intensity--has suddenly switched his allegiance to McCain. And he calls "dirty pool".
So all of his somewhat unbelievable defense of Huckabee was simply an undercover scam. His continually unfair treatment of Romney always seemed a bit over the top. This leads one to believe that Medved was in the bag for McCain all along, and was just hiding it so he could be a more effective Huck-a-booster.Though they're both social conservatives, Medved did sound awfully intense for Huck and it seemed like a strange fit. Is there a better explanation for his switch?This is dirty pool. Hugh Hewitt may have gone bat-crazy for Romney, but at least he puts it out there for everyone to see.
