JYB Gets Results; Busts Bogus Paulbot
Alas, poor Allahpundit. I thought I'd found him a "conservative, moral atheist" girl named "Jenna Tomlinson" who was protesting Romney when he spoke at Texas A&M. Now, she was also chair of a group called "Atheists and Agnostics for Ron Paul" (but I think he might have been interested anyway).
If she were real, that is. Commenter "Ninjapirate" noticed there wasn't anyone by that name at Texas A&M. And googling the name of her group produces a googlewhack.
Long story short, I contacted World Magazine, they tried to track down Jenna Tomlinson, they couldn't find her or her group, and they published a correction today.
Understandable error, promptly and graciously noted. A lot of bigger magazines could learn a lesson from WORLD.
PS Thanks, Ninjapirate!
