"Nazi rally", plus Michelle Obama's Sherri Palmer moment

Everyone's talking about Michelle Obama's socialist soliloquy, and Ace has one of the funniest photoshops I've seen in a long time (if you don't mind some strong--though warranted--language to see it.)

But that's not what got some people I know fired up. My dad called me from Oklahoma last night to ask if I'd seen the Obamessiah's victory speech. I hadn't--still haven't--but the laid-back See-Dad was seriously freaked, noting that the rhetoric and atmosphere was "like a Nazi rally", "full-bore socialism", "like Stalin", and the guy kept it up for 45 minutes like Castro. And as soon as it was over a family friend, a cattleman of some means and again, a calm demeanor, had called him to ask "Did you see that?"

Haven't seen much blogospheric reaction to that speech yet, and I don't have 45 minutes to spare on that stuff (I'm going out of town tomorrow.) So if you've seen it, let me know what you thought in the comments. If it was really that bad I'll find it and put up some video--or maybe ask some video-bloggers I know to put up some lowlights.

Last election thought and then I have to pack: How funny is it to see an editor of the Yale Law Review fighting with the editor of the Harvard Law Review of not doing enough for the middle class? That's what passes for populism for the Democrats, I guess.

Thanks for the link to Clinton’s biography. She’s been known for her health care campaigns in 1993-94. Even in initial part of this campaign, for the chance to run the office, she shows most of her interest in health care issues. Used Ford Engines

Sounds like ein volk, ein fuhrer stuff to me. But if he is the best the Dhimmies can offer what can be said of the GOP.

Looks like a third party candidate for me.
