Chinese Foil Islamist Plan to attack Olympics, plus unspecified terrorists' attempt to crash plane

The AP version of this story doesn't give many details about who the terrorists were on the plane ("He gave few details,") but this report throws the I word in the first paragraph as it describes a subsequent raid on some Islamofascists planning terror at the Olympics:

Chinese police have captured and killed alleged Islamic terrorists plotting attacks targeting the Beijing Olympic Games, a senior Communist Party official has said.

Wang Lequan, the top official in the far western region of Xinjiang, said materials seized in the January 27 raid in the regional capital, Urumqi, suggested the plotters' purpose was to "specifically to sabotage the staging of the Beijing Olympics".
