Actually, if you didn’t know what came next in the Cabaret clip (meaning WWII and the Holocaust), then I would say the Obama video is actually scarier. The creepy Germans were singing a propaganda song, but at least the refrain wasn’t “Hi-it-ler! What is it with these people? When Eugene McCarthy ran for President in 1968, he beat Robert Kennedy in the Oregon primary. It was the first election ever lost by a Kennedy and the McCarthyites were ecstatic. At their HQ in Portland, hundreds of them celebrated by making the “peace” sign and stretching out their right arms, all pointing in the same direction. It was right out of the Sportpalast.

Yep, I guess that makes them cultists. But, by the same definition, what does it make YOU? There is nothing I can find that defines a cult by the number of it’s adherents. Believing in something is one thing; belonging to a religious group that believes the same thing is a Cult.

For instance, why would Scientology be considered a cult and Christianity not? Is one belief any more believable than the other? No. Is Mormonism any more believable? Islam? As long as you are willing to admit you belong to a cult, I can accept your definition as applies to Obama supporters.
